Dreamline Online Festival 2025
Go Me to We with Dreamline
Event Description
This year’s Dreamline Festival is an experiment in commiunity and we hope you’ll all join in!
Here’s how it will work:
- Participant Schools will have groups of students in a room with one Zoom computer facing the group and a big screen or projector.
- We’ll all see each other from near and far!
- Dreamline hosts will run the show and use Spotlights and Screen Shares to produce it for everyone.Â
- Family and firends can attend from anywhere as Webinar guests.Â
Celebrate Together
- Join hundreds of other students in groups across our project.
- A simple Zoom setup puts us all around the same table and shares the mic!
- We host, manage the tech, and make connecting simple.
- You can also invite friends and family.
Global Dream Shout
See the faces and hear the voices of fellow Dreamline students and teachers from across the project.
Each group will be invited to take the mic and have representatives of your group read their Dream Banners out loud for everyone.
If you send us a picture of the Dream Banner ahead, we will show it so everyone can see it while the author reads.
- We ask that you select your readers by April 18.
Special Guest Speaker
Get inspired and amazed at the power of dreams.
The words of our speaker, Dr. Rollo Dillworth, will motivate every listener to be moved by the power of our connected dreams!
He is a globally recognized and award winning composer and director of choral music with a consistent and uplifting focus on social justice, community, and the value of voice.Â
Crazy Button Bonanza!
If you sign up by March 30, we’ll mail you a box of buttons, one for every student participant in your group!Â
AND there will be something on the back of each button that’s part of an interactive group activity that will include ALL students who are attending. We don’t want to tell you what it is yet, but you’ll want to see the video!
Musical Magic!
We’ll wrap it up with musical magic–group singing of Dreamline’s Theme Song led by LA based media producer and creator of Abby Wonder and the Whimsies.Â
We’ll ask you to record the singing at each site, then we’ll “tape it together” in post production and share out a memory.
Hear the song on Spotify.Â
CONNECTION
STUDENTS are HEARD and CONNECTED to other groups in different places.
We need that now.Â
